Some of our peach trees are about to blossom! ![]()
It’s been an unusually warm winter and some trees and plants are thinking it’s spring.
We are finally getting frosts, which will damage these buds.
- This does not necessarily mean that damage is permanent but may simply lose some of the fruit crop this year…
- We can also prune back to the next dormant bud and help prevent freeze damage to the new growth!
“The farm is where patience grew, we cannot rush a seed or force a bloom or hurry a harvest. We are taught to wait, trust and tend what’s in front of us.” —Unknown
