How much does it cost?

There are no upfront fees. All students enrol into a work study program that allows expenses (tuition, food, and housing) to be offset over the duration of training. During a typical day students spend half their time in hands-on work, and half in study or classroom activities.

How do I apply for training?

How long does the application process take?

We allow 2 weeks for processing, including interviews & reference checks.

How long is the program?

Our 2026 pilot program runs for 5 months from July 6 to December 6.

What kind of work will students perform?

Students gain experience rotating through various work areas including:

  • Agriculture in the market garden (we grow fruit, vegetables, berries, and flowers)
  • Assisting with The Maker Heals (food preparation, helping guests, etc)
  • Literature evangelism (canvassing – book sales)
  • Maintenance and construction on the property
  • Firewood processing

Are international students accepted?

Yes, we welcome international students who are able to legally enrol in the training program. Madison Missionary Training Centre is not government recognised or eligible for a study visa. We have limited capacity to assist visa applications.

Are there housing options on campus?

Yes, we provide housing for students. Some students may be hosted off-campus depending on training program size.
