Here we are, finding ample reasons to praise God as day 3 of the training school winding up early. A morning of canvassing training and practice filled students with anticipation, and an afternoon on the streets of Tallangatta wore them out, but left them smiling.

It’s been a wonderful start. Seven students are braving subzero mornings and seeing their first sunshine about lunchtime; ho hum for the Korean student but gung ho for the Queenslander.

Righteousness by faith is the opening Bible class, and the first health classes are anatomy/physiology and patient care. While those are going very well, we hear more stories about the welding and chainsaw life skill learning in the afternoons. Lots of enthusiasm and plenty of caution as everyone’s a first timer or fairly new to it.

Three delicious meals are disappearing fast each day and there’s plenty of enthusiasm for chores. The first memory verse is being embedded and everyone’s walked up the hill or out to the lakeside. Thanks for your prayers. We’re loving it.
