Wow, two plumbing questions in two minutes! These old pub toilets must be getting a more sustained workout than they’ve had for a while. And I must look like a plumber!
Sorry, that’s a terrible way to entice you to read on. But I just want to demonstrate how interesting our life has become here at Granya.
Three weeks down. Everyone’s still full of chirp, enjoying the balance of classroom in the morning and practical in the afternoon.
And that balance is making its impact on me too, with the cistern and whatnot. Last week the gas suddenly ran dry, a shipping container delivery didn’t go as planned (too boggy for the tilt tray truck), a towbar install didn’t happen at all (a Hiace towbar does not fit a Hiace Commuter), a long splinter deep under a fingernail (good fodder for natural remedies, it emerged on day 3).
I think that’s the bulk of the fun that came at us. The lodge’s gas ran out, there’s some VicRoads complications still to wade through, but you know what? We got there in the end. God keeps getting us through these challenges, and as we emerge, there are more reasons to praise Him.
We’ve just begun The Maker Heals program, our first ten day program with our students as well as guests from the general public. Very exciting.
